CLINIC BILLING SPECIALIST

FULL-TIME POSITION
Job Summary
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Consistently follow up on unpaid claims utilizing monthly aging reports and filing appeals when appropriate to obtain maximum reimbursement. Secondary duties include but are not limited to: Data entry of all patient demographic, guarantor and insurance information, posting procedures and insurance/patient payments, balance to daily deposits.
Primary Duties
• Ensure all claims are submitted with a goal of zero errors.
• Verifies completeness and accuracy of all claims prior to submission.
• Check the accuracy of all payments posted.
• Timely follow up on insurance claim denials, exceptions or exclusions.
• Meet deadlines.
• Reading and interpreting insurance explanation of benefits.
• Utilize monthly aging accounts receivable reports to follow up on unpaid claims.
• Make necessary arrangements for medical records requests, completion of additional information requests, etc. as requested by insurance companies.
• Respond to inquiries from insurance companies, patients and providers.
• Regularly meet with Director of Patient Accounts to discuss and resolve reimbursement issues or billing obstacles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Two years of healthcare billing experience. Thorough knowledge of insurance billing process and electronic filing of claims. Proficiency in the use of Windows-based PC skills and computer required.

Kingman Community Hospital is hiring a full-time Environmental Services Tech. Job summary: cleans and disinfects all areas of the hospital according to hospital policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications: Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions. Knowledge of cleaning devices and equipment preferred. Must pass employment physicals and screening. Frequents lifint and carrying up to 25 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, stoops, and lift most of the time while on duty. Reports to Housekeeping Director.

Kingman Community Hospital is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist. Registered in vascular a plus as well as the ability to take call. This Tech will perform x-rays for diagnostic purposes. Must be able to follow established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.
Requirements
Radiology Technologist must be able to perform the following tasks:
1. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
2. Explain procedures.
3. Ensure excellent patient care, safety, and comfort during scan.
4. Operate radiologic equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes.
Must be registered with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
